8/1/23 – This is a nice example of a Nambu Type 14 issued to the Japanese military in November of 1938. It is all matching and has retained roughly 80% of its original finish. The majority of the wear is along the barrel and on the high edges of the receiver. Besides actual finish loss, there are areas of spotty oxidation and pin-pricking throughout. A small area of minor pitting on the right side of the slide. Fitted with slightly worn wood grips – no legible numbering. Comes with a period-correct but mismatched magazine. Excellent bore.
