5/12/23 – This is a very nice example of a Nambu Type 14 issued to the Japanese military in 1938. It is all matching, except for the firing pin which is un-numbered. The gun itself has retained about 96% of its original finish with very light wear and a few small spots of discoloration on the right side of the gun. While there isn’t much actual finish loss, there is light spotty oxidation throughout and some more noticeable freckling on both grip straps. Fitted with excellent wood grips – the left panel is hand-numbered and matching, the right is numbered but illegible. Comes with a period-correct but mismatched magazine. Excellent bore with strong rifling.
