1/25/22 – This is a very nice example of a Mauser Luger issued to the Nazi military in 1938. The gun is all matching and has the proper “Eagle 63” Nazi military acceptance proofs on the right side of the slide. The gun has retained about 94% of its original finish. There are just hints of wear on the side plate, front edges of the side rails, and around the muzzle. Minor thinning on both grip straps and some light scratches/handling marks on the front strap. A couple of very tiny dings on the underside of the barrel. Comes with minty wood grips and a mismatched period-correct magazine. The bore has strong rifling with minor freckling here and there.
