12/13/22 – This is an original 1938 dated Luger holster in very good condition. The holster comes with an unmarked reproduction luger tool. The leather is in very good condition with soft leather that has normal pliability. There’s some surface wrinkling on the closure strap and top lid, as well as some general use and aging wear. The back leather has some white colored paint outlining the stitching and the name “TEX” likely some trench art done by the GI who brought this home. The interior leather shows similar white paint indicating a name and serial number. The holster otherwise has no issues and has all original leather and stitching. Crisply maker stamped, dated, and waffen proofed on the back leather.
