3/25/22 – This is a nice example of a Beretta Model 1934 issued to the Italian military in 1938. The gun is all matching and has the proper “Crown RE” Italian military proof on the left side of the trigger guard. The gun has retained about 90% of its original high polish finish. There is wear on the high edges of the slide and around the muzzle. While there isn’t much actual finish loss, there are areas of freckling on both sides of the slide and on the grip straps. Areas with tiny handling marks on both sides of the frame. Noticeable spotty oxidation on the barrel. Thinning and noticeable spotty oxidation on the front strap. There is somewhat scratchy wear, light patina, and freckling on the back strap. A small area of pitting on the right side of the slide around the muzzle. Comes with nice period-correct grips and a proper magazine. The bore has good rifling with minor pin-pricking throughout.
