6/25/24 – This is a fairly scarce WW2 production leather pistol holster by A. Wunderlich. The holster is “tear drop” style, a shape that’s commonly found with police proofs, but this example doesn’t have any police eagle stamps. There’s a circular maker and date stamp on the front leather, underneath the closure strap. The holster is in great overall condition with normal use wear and pliability. Light surface wear on the magazine pouch, and normal wrinkling on the top rounded portion of leather. The back belt loop looks to be replaced or repaired at some point, and a few stitches are missing in this area. There’s also a few loose stitches at the toe of the holster, but the toe is still secure and completely intact. Fits most 7.65mm Axis pistols.
