8/31/22 – This is a nice example of a Mosin Nagant Model 91/30 manufactured in 1937. From its unique features, such as 1947 date, lack of modern import stamps, its wire sling swivels, and heavily sanded stock, we believe this gun was issued to Spanish forces during the Spanish Civil War (1936-39). This one is mostly mismatched but in nice condition overall. There is light scratchy wear on the receiver and spotty oxidation on the barrel. Some areas of heavier oxidation on the barrel bands and magazine. Some spotty surface rust and heavy oxidation on the butt plate. The stock has been heavily sanded, and there are noticeable dings, bruises, and scratches throughout. The gun is missing its cleaning rod. The bore has decent rifling, with noticeable oxidation in the grooves.
