11/4/22 – This is an excellent example of a Mauser Luger issued to the Nazi military in 1937. It is all matching, has the proper “S/42” Mauser factory code, and has the proper “Eagle 33” Nazi military acceptance proofs. It comes as a rig with a nice 1939-dated holster and a matching numbered magazine that has been over-stamped and force-matched. The gun itself has retained about 95% of its original bluing. There is minor wear on the side plate, very front edges of the side rails, around the muzzle, and minor spotty wear along the barrel. A few tiny pits on the left side of the barrel. Very minor freckling on the grip straps. Comes with excellent matching-numbered wood grips. The bore has good rifling, but there is freckling throughout.
