6/27/23 – This is a very nice example of a Mauser Luger issued to the Nazi military in 1937. It is mostly matching, but the toggle assembly is mismatched. It has the proper “Eagle 63” military acceptance proofs and has retained about 95% of its original finish. Areas of wear around the muzzle, on the plate, and on the side rails. While there isn’t much actual finish loss, there is noticeable spotty oxidation and dulling on the grip straps. Some light freckling on both sides of the frame and on the side plate. Fitted with very nice matching-numbered wood grips and comes with a mismatched “Eagle 63” magazine. Mint bore.
