2/9/21 – Original and excellent condition 1936 Walther Olympia Fünfkampf (Pentathlon). This model has the weights and a weight key for easy removal. The original design was developed for use by the German Olympic team who used it during the 1936 Berlin Olympics. This is the “Fünfkampf” version, or “Pentathlon” of the Olympia pistol. It is chambered for the .22 Long Rifle and has a 9-1/2″ barrel. The rear sight is adjustable for windage. This example has retained about 98% of its original bluing. There is only minor wear along the barrel and the high edges. The original grips are excellent. The gun is all matching, except for the magazine. It has “Crown N” proofs. It was made in the Zella-Mehlis factory. The bore is minty.
