1/11/22 – This is a very nice example of a Mauser Luger issued to the Nazi military in 1936. It is all matching and has the proper “Eagle 63” Nazi military acceptance proofs on the right side of the slide. It comes as a rig with a fairly worn 1939-dated waffen-proofed holster, an un-marked Luger tool, one armorer’s replacement “S/42” magazine, and one period-correct mismatched magazine. The magazine pouch on holster was repaired with glue along one of the edges. The gun has retained about 85% of its original finish. Most of the finish loss is on both grip straps, but there are also areas of wear on the left side of the frame, side plate, right side rail, and around the muzzle. Some very minor thinning on the barrel. There are tiny dots of oxidation in the areas of wear, most noticeable on the straps. The side plate is slightly dented and has some dings along the top edge. Comes with excellent replacement wood grips. The rifling in the born shows a little bit of wear but very nice overall.
