3/16/22 – This is a nice example of a Mauser Luger issued to the Nazi military in 1936. The gun is all matching and has the proper “Eagle 63” Nazi military acceptance proofs on the right side of the slide. It has retained roughly 80% of its original finish. The majority of the finish loss is on the grip straps, where there is also some spotty oxidation and brown patina. There are also areas of wear on the side plate, side rails, and around the muzzle. Some very minor scratchy wear on the left side of the frame. Comes with slightly worn un-numbered wood grips (small chip in the left panel) and a mismatched but period-correct magazine that is “Eagle 63”-proofed. The bore has decent rifling, but there is minor pin-pricking throughout and some tiny pits here and there. Note: the magazine release is a little stiff.
