12/28/22 – This is a nice example of a Mauser Luger issued to the Nazi military in 1936. It is all matching and has the proper “Eagle 63” Nazi military acceptance proofs. It has retained about 65% of its original finish. The majority of the finish loss is on both grip straps. There are areas of wear on the side plate, side rails, and around the muzzle. Noticeable thinning on the left side of the barrel and left side of the frame. There are also some tiny pits on the side plate and a few very light scratches on the left side of the frame. Comes with a set of minty wood grips (un-numbered) and a period-correct mismatched magazine (police arsenal-numbered). The bore has good riling with minor pin-pricking throughout.
