8/1/23 – This is a nice example of a Nambu Type 14 issued to the Japanese military in March of 1936. It is all matching and has retained about 90-92% of its original finish. Minor wear around the muzzle and on the high edges in general. A hint of thinning on the grip straps. Some light spotty oxidation here and there, and some noticeable pitting on the grip straps. Fitted with nice period-correct grips that are numbered but mismatched. Comes with a period-correct but mismatched magazine. The bore has decent rifling, but there is minor pitting throughout.
