10/23/23 – This is an original 1936 dated Luger holster from WW2. The holster is maker stamped, date stamped, and waffen military proof stamped on the back leather. The maker and waffen proof stamps are faint, but still visible. The back leather also has some surface scratches of a name and serial number from a previous owner. There’s also the number “417” scratched upside down on the front lid, as shown. The leather is soft and pliable with surface wrinkling and use wear throughout. So surface cracking but this is mild. The stitching is all tight and original with a few loose / missing stitches on the back belt loops, but they’re both still secure and attached.
