5/18/23 – This is an original 1936 dated Luger holster from WW2. The holster is in great condition with very nice black dyed leather and all stitching tight and intact. Our suspicion is the stitching throughout this example is replacement. The color of the stitching on the lid and front closure strap is unusual, and although none of the stitching glows under a black light, we doubt this is factory original. Price reduced accordingly. The leather has normal signs of use and aging with light pliability. The front leather has fading dye mostly near the toe, and on areas of the back leather. Maker stamped, date stamped, and waffen military proof stamped on the back leather with crisp markings.
