11/6/18 – This is a scarce 1936 Krieghoff Luger with the original matching magazine. The pistol is all original and correct, with proper grips and most parts correctly stamped with the Eagle/2 proof indicating that it was issued to the Luftwaffe. The bluing on this one is tough to rate, as the actual finish loss is mostly on high edges and the left side frame, but there is patina in many areas and minor surface freckling on either side. Bore is shiny with good rifling. Chamber has full 1936 date. Toggle has proper Krieghoff factory logo. This is very affordable for a Krieghoff as there were only about 1500 of this variation made. These guns often sell in the 7500 to 9500 range with the matching magazine, but this one is hurt a bit due to the finish condition. Excellent collectible / investment piece.
