10/17/24 – This is a fairly nice example of a Beretta Model 1935 issued to the Italian Air Force as indicated by the Eagle proof stamp on the tang. It is all matching and has a rare, early “TP” Italian military acceptance proof. It was re-purposed for the commercial market in 1952 showing commercial proof marks along with the date and the letter “M” serial number suffix. The gun itself has retained about ~80% of its original high polish finish. Most of the wear is around the high edges of the slide along with the front and back straps. Minor corrosion on the tip of the tang. Light patina throughout. Includes nice black bakelite grips. The bore is clean and has nice rifling. Fully functional.
