8/2/23 – This is a very nice example of a Nambu Type 14 issued to the Japanese military in December of 1935. It is all matching and comes as a rig with a period-correct holster and a period-correct but mismatched magazine. The holster appears to have been painted with a darker-colored brown. The gun itself has retained about 93% of its original finish with minor wear around the muzzle and on the high edges. Some areas of very light pin-pricking here and there. Fitted with matching-numbered wood grips. The bore has good rifling, but there is pin-pricking throughout.
