10/25/21 – This is a matching K98 bayonet and scabbard from early / pre WW2. The bayonet is S/173 G maker stamped, and serial numbered on the reverse. The maker is fairly scarce and desirable because it’s a G Date manufacture. The blade, unfortunately is refinished based on what we can tell. The finish is dark and there is some wear near the blade edge that appears blued over. The scabbard is matching serial numbered to the blade, but also looks like a dark refinish and has some mild surface dents and dings but no major issues. Price reduced accordingly.
