6/20/23 – This is an original 1934 dated “K Date” Luger holster from early / pre WW2. The holster has all original leather and stitching with an internal tool and cleaning rod pouch still intact. Many K Date holsters have been altered or re-stitched, so this example is desirable as it’s all factory original. The only non-factory aspect is the added unit stamp, “S.S.T. 26” on the front lid. The leather has mild surface wrinkling throughout the exterior leather. The black dye has faded and worn off from the exterior as well, mostly around the top and front leather. The back leather is maker stamped, waffen military proofed, and 1934 date stamped. The interior leather is fairly clean with normal signs of use. Normal pliability throughout as well. The stitching is all original and intact although some of the stitches on the lid, connecting the body of leather to the lid, are loose or broken. This doesn’t affect functionality.
