7/28/23 – This is an excellent example of an Enfield No 2 MK 1 revolver issued to the British military in 1933. All matching with the proper British proofs throughout. It has retained about 97% of its finish with just minor wear on the high edges. While there is very little actual finish loss, there are some areas of freckling here and there and some spots of heavy oxidation and a few tiny pits on the front strap and butt of the frame. Fitted with nice checkered wood grips – two notches on the left side. The bore is shiny with strong rifling for the most part, but there is some minor fouling around the cylinder end.
