9/29/23 – This is an Arsenal-refurbished Springfield Model 1903 rifle. The serial number on the receiver dates to 1932. The barrel is dated November 1936. The stock is an unmarked replacement. The finish rates about 95%, but there are some light scratches here and there and light brown patina under the finish throughout. Pitting on the butt plate. Minty stock. The bore has good rifling, but there is spotty surface oxidation and pitting throughout.
