10/10/22 – This is a very nice example of a Nambu Type 14 issued to the Japanese military in January of 1930. The gun is all matching and comes as a rig with a nice period-correct hardshell leather holster, nickeled cleaning rod, and two nickeled magazines. One of the mags is mismatched, the other was originally mismatched but properly re-numbered at an arsenal to match (on the base of the magazine). The gun itself has retained about 93% of its original bluing. The majority of the finish loss is on the top of the slide around the ejection port. There is also minor muzzle wear, one spot of wear on the underside of the trigger guard, and some light spotty wear on the front strap. Some tiny pitting on both grip straps. Comes with very nice wood grips – the right panel is matching, the left is mismatched. Minty bore.
