12/1/22 – This is an original pre WW2 production Police Luger holster. The holster is 1929 dated on the back leather, and stamped with a police sunburst star proof stamp and maker stamp. There’s also a unit stamp to the right of the belt loops as shown. This holster is a great match for a Simson Luger, as they were only of the few manufacturers for Lugers during this time. There aren’t many Weimar era production Luger holsters in circulation today. This example has soft leather with normal pliability. There’s some surface wrinkling and minor scuffing on the exterior leather and the interior leather shows signs of honest use wear. No notable stitching flaws.
