12/31/20 – This is a nice example of a commercial 1920’s DWM Luger. The “Germany” export mark on the front strap indicates it was sold in the international commercial market. This one is all matching and has “Crown N” proofs. It has retained somewhere between 85-90% of its original finish. There is wear around the muzzle, side plate, high edges of the frame, and spotty wear on both straps. A couple of dots of discoloration on the chamber. There are areas of oxidation most noticeable on the straps. The stock lug has been ground down. It comes with a numbered wood bottom magazine. The bore is excellent – shiny with strong rifling.
