4/15/22 – This is an excellent example of a Webley Mk VI revolver issued to the British military in 1918. It is all matching and has the proper British proofs throughout. This gun may have gone to an arsenal at some point, as evidenced by the “asterisk” markings on the frame and barrel and the fact that the cylinder was shaved to accept .45 caliber cartridges. In any case, the gun has retained about 99% of its bluing. There is very minor muzzle wear, a few tiny handling marks on the left side of the barrel, and a very light roll mark on the cylinder. The original grips were replaced with excellent dark wood grips. The bore is mint.
