4/12/23 – This is a very nice example of a DWM Luger issued to the Imperial German military in 1918. It is all matching and has the proper Imperial military proofs. It comes as a rig with one mismatched magazine and a fairly worn WW1-era holster. The holster was embellished with some pins on the top flap, and the tool pouch is missing. The gun itself has retained about 95% of its original finish. Minor wear around the muzzle and high edges in general. Some light scratches on the left side of the frame. A couple of small spots of wear on the front strap. While there isn’t much actual finish loss, there is light freckling on both grip straps and on the left side of the frame. Fitted with excellent matching-numbered wood grips. The bore has good rifling, but there is minor fouling and pin-pricking throughout.
