3/11/22 – This is a nice example of a DWM Luger issued to the Imperial German military in 1918. The gun is all matching and has the proper Imperial military proofs on the right side of the slide. The gun has retained roughly 80% of its original finish. The majority of the wear is on around the receiver and side plate, where the finish loss is significant. There is also generally wear around the high edges, around the muzzle, and at the base of both grip straps. Somewhat light spotty wear along the barrel. A series of light scratches down the back strap. Comes with nice un-numbered wood grips (small chip in the top corner of the left panel) and a period-correct but mismatched magazine. The bore has strong rifling with tiny pin-pricking here and there.
