11/28/23 – This is an original WW1 production M1916 leather holster by Warren Leather Goods. Made for the M1911 Colt pistol, this holster is in good overall condition with signs of aging and use throughout. The leather is soft and pliable with wrinkling and surface wear throughout. The front “US” stamp is still visible however, and the back leather has a faint maker stamp, visible date stamp, and an inspector initial stamp. Some loose stitching on the back leather, but this doesn’t affect functionality and all the leather is secure. Most of the original stitching is still intact.
