10/29/18 – This is an original WW1 production U.S. Trench knife. The knife comes with the original leather scabbard made by Jewell in 1918. You can faintly see the date and maker stamp on the scabbard. The leather has some scuffing throughout and faded discoloration, but is all original – guaranteed. The metal ends have some patina throughout as well. The blade is excellent with some light bluing loss, but no major issues nor any significant corrosion. There’s a very slight bend at the tip , but this is minor. The wood handle is excellent. The top of the hand guard is maker stamped and dated. Guaranteed original and authentic.
