5/21/24 – This is an original Swiss Luger holster from 1917. The holster is maker stamped on the back leather with a “17” date stamp underneath. The maker stamp reads, “genossenschafts sattler” . The interior lid is stamped with a faint Swiss logo. The leather is in excellent condition given its age with some minor expected wrinkling throughout. The back belt loops have been reinforced with rivets. Strong pliability, and great original stitching throughout. The strap has some wrinkling/cracking throughout but still strong and no cracks that penetrate all the way through. Interior is clean with little signs of use. The straps clasp looks like it may be broken, it can still hook onto the eyelet but can bounce off, essentially its just a hook. This is an excellent example.
