5/16/24 – This is an original 1917 dated WW1 Leather Luger Magazine Pouch. We rate this example as excellent overall condition, as the leather is strong and has mild pliability. Most examples we encounter are much more worn than this. The only takeaway is the stitching on the front closure strap is separating, as shown in the last photo. The rest of the stitching is tight and intact. The front of the pouch is GERMANY export stamped, which means this was sent outside of Germany sometime after WW1. The interior leather is stamped with a crisp maker and date stamp. Hard to find examples this well marked. As the leather is very firm, the fit of magazines in this pouch is pretty tight.
