12/17/21 – This is a very nice example of an Enfield SHT LE Mk III* Rifle made by BSA and issued to the British military in 1917. It is all correct and has the proper British proofs throughout. This one comes with an original 1907-dated bayonet and scabbard. Overall, the gun is in very nice condition. It has retained most of its original finish with very minor wear around some of the high edges. Most parts have a light brown patina under the finish. The stock is fairly nice, but there are minor dings and dents throughout. There is small chip in the wood just above the action and what looks like a minor wood repair on the right side of the action. It appears that the butt stock has been sanded. The bore has decent rifling, but there is heavy pitting throughout.
