4/5/17 – This is a nice Erfurt-made luger rig, produced in 1917. The rig includes a beautiful 1917 dated holster, one matching magazine, a second proper Erfurt magazine numbered to a different pistol, and an Imperial marked luger tool. The finish on the pistol is about 92-94%, with most of the wear on the side plate and bottom of the straps. The pistol is all matching, with Erfurt proofs on most small parts. The original matching magazine has a faint Erfurt proof, and appears correct. The spare mag shows signs of an overstamped serial, but also has proper Erfurt proofs. The holster is in excellent shape, and the top flap has a metal identification plate attached that represents the GI who possessed it. Correct tool. Excellent bore.
