11/5/21 – This is a nice example of a DWM Luger issued to the Imperial German military in 1917. It is all matching and has the proper Imperial proofs on the right side of the slide. It has retained about 90% of its original finish. There are areas of somewhat spotty wear on the left side of the frame, side plate, side rails, on the top of the chamber, and around the muzzle. There are tiny dots of discoloration and freckling on both grip straps. There areas of pin-pricking on the side plate and on the left side of the frame. Small pits here and there along the barrel. Comes with excellent matching-numbered wood grips and a period-correct but mismatched wood-bottom magazine. The bore has good rifling with some small areas of minor freckling here and there.
