6/8/22 – This is a nice example of a DWM Artillery Luger issued to the Imperial German military in 1917. It is all matching and has the proper Imperial military proofs. It has retained roughly 70% of its original finish. The majority of the bluing loss is on the front strap, where there is virtually no finish. Noticeable wear and light brown patina on the left side of the frame. Areas of minor wear on the side plate, side rails, and on the back strap. Hints of minor thinning along the barrel. Comes with mismatched wood grips with minor bruising and a period-correct but mismatched magazine. The bore has good rifling with minor pin-pricking throughout.
