5/17/22 – This is a nice example of a Lee-Enfield No 1 Mk 3 rifle issued to the British military in 1917. The gun is all matching except for the stock, which is dated April of 1945. So it is likely this gun was re-worked for re-issue during WW2. Overall, the gun is in nice condition. In general, there is minor wear around the high edges and some light brown patina under the bluing. The stock has minor dings and bruises throughout and looks like it was lightly sanded at some point. There is a small spot of black paint on the top of the butt stock. Excellent bore – shiny with strong rifling.
