3/12/21 – This is a Springfield Armory 1917 Bolo knife from WW1. The blade is US stamped and serial numbered on one side, dated, ordnance stamped, and SA stamped on the other. The blade shows signs of use and mild sharpening. There’s also some dark oxidation / aging wear. The wood handles are in good condition, but one of the handle screws is slightly raised. The scabbard is excellent with the original canvas and leather toe still in tact. The toe is maker stamped and dated 1918. See photos.
