4/17/23 – This is an original 1916 dated Luger holster from WW1. The holster is in great condition with all original leather and stitching. The interior lid of the holster is maker stamped and date stamped. These markings are crisp and still visible, which is fairly uncommon for an early WW1 holster like this. The leather is soft and pliable but has nice shape overall and no major issues. There’s some mild scuffing on the front toe of leather and magazine pouch. Fairly clean interior leather, with some mild cracking on the tool pouch. The stitching is all original with a few semi-loose stitches shown on the back-toe of leather, but this doesn’t affect functionality nor does it create any separation in the leather.
