6/14/24 – This is a very nice example of an Italian Bodeo M1889 Revolver, manufactured by Mida Gia Castelli Brescia in 1916. Chambered in 10.35x22mm. This is the Tipo B variant with a trigger guard. The gun comes with an original capture document that lists a Model 1916 Russian revolver, chambered in .44 Caliber. Either this gun was misidentified by the commanding officer or this paperwork does not belong to the gun – that is lost to history. The gun’s original finish rates about 90% with general high edge wear with light scratching and freckling throughout. Fitted with wood grips. Minty bore.
