11/16/22 – This is a nice example of a DWM Model 1914 Navy Luger issued to the Imperial German Navy in 1916. It is all matching and has the proper “Crown M” Navy acceptance proofs. This one also comes with one original matching-numbered magazine. It has retained roughly 80% of its original finish with areas of light scratchy wear along the right side of the barrel, on both grip straps, on the right side of the slide, and around the high edges in general. There are areas of obvious pitting here and there, most obvious on the left side of the frame, on the side plate, along the right side of the barrel, and on the grip straps. Comes with very nice un-numbered wood grips – the left panel is a little loose. The bore has good rifling with tiny pin-pricking throughout.
