8/2/23 – This is a very nice example of a DWM Artillery Luger issued to the Imperial German military in 1916. It is all matching with the proper Imperial proofs. It comes as a rig with an excellent reproduction holster and leather harness, repro luger tool, repro cleaning rod, a period-correct but mismatched magazine, and what appears to be an original wood stock. The stock has been sanded and appears to have been force-matched to the gun. The gun itself has retained somewhere between 85-90% of its original finish. Most of the wear is on the grip straps, where there is also spotty oxidation. Some tiny pits on the back straps. Areas of minor wear around the muzzle and on the side plate. Minor pitting along the right side of the barrel and on the right side rail. Fitted with excellent matching-numbered wood grips. The bore has great rifling with just very minor pin-pricking throughout.
