3/31/23 – This is an excellent example of a DWM Luger issued to the imperial German army in 1915. The gun is all matching, except for the hold-open, and has the proper German imperial acceptance proofs. It has retained 94-95% of its original finish, with very minor wear around the muzzle, on the side plate, and on the front edges of the side rails. There are also a couple dots of wear on the left side of the frame, and a few areas of very light freckling here and there, most noticeably on the grip straps. The straw finish on the small parts is generally thin, with light spotty oxidation. Comes with excellent matching numbered wood grips, and period-correct but mismatched magazine.
