8/23/24 – This is a nice example of a DWM Luger originally issued to the Imperial German Army in 1914. It is mismatched, and the barrel has been replaced with a postwar commercial Artillery-length barrel. The original receiver has the milled area for an adjustable sight, so it was originally an Artillery Luger receiver. There are Imperial proofs on the right side of the slide, a “Crown N” marking on the left side of the slide, and “Germany” export markings on the rails of the frame. It has retained about 90% of its finish with spotty wear on the grip straps, muzzle wear, high edge wear, and some light scratches and handling marks here and there. Fitted with un-numbered wood grips (the two are slightly different colors) and comes with a mismatched magazine. Minty bore.
