4/26/22 – This is an excellent example of a Colt Model 1911 issued to the US military in 1914. It is “United States Property” marked and has an “AA” marking on the left side of the frame, indicating this gun was sent to the Augusta Arsenal and reworked for issue during WW2. The entire gun has been arsenal-refurbished, was parkerized, and the barrel was replaced with a WW2-era High Standard barrel. There is very little wear in its new finish except for a very light scuff on the top of the slide and a light streak of discoloration on the back strap. Comes with excellent WW2-era plastic grips and a WW1-era magazine that was refinished. Minty bore.
