3/11/24 – This is a Colt M1911 that was originally issued to the US military in 1914. It was arsenal-reworked, as evidenced by the “SA” marking on the right side of the frame. It has a post-war replacement barrel and a post-war commercial Colt Government Model slide. The entire gun has been parkerized and shows very little finish loss. There are light surface scuffs here and there and a white mark on the front strap. Fitted with WW2-era reddish plastic grips and comes with a post-war magazine. Minty bore.
