6/21/23 – This is an excellent example of an early WW1 Imperial Artillery Luger Holster. The holster has very nice reddish-brown colored leather and reddish colored stitching. The leather has some mild surface wrinkling and light scuffing around the edges and high-movement points. The top right corner, when looking at the back of the holster, shows an added reinforcement stitch to help repair a small tear in the leather. The interior leather is clean with mild signs of previous use. The holster is unmarked except for a small “1914” date stamp on the front leather. Given the item’s age, this is an excellent example.
