3/25/22 – This is an original WW1 Artillery Luger holster with shoulder stock, leather straps, and a cleaning rod. The holster is stamped “D.W.M. 1914” into the leather in multiple different areas including the closure strap, stock toe attachment strap, shoulder strap, front leather under the closure strap, on the wood stock, and on the cleaning rod. We can’t verify if these stamps are original, but it’s unlikely these are factory stamps as there aren’t other examples with this type of stamping. The wood is original and in great condition with an imperial proof stamp. The metal is serial numbered “1193b”. The leather is in good condition with normal surface wear and aging throughout but no major issues. The leather cup is not attached at the base, but this is generally a minor issue. No notable stitching flaws.
