7/13/22 – This is a very nice example of an early Erfurt Luger issued to the Imperial German military in 1911. It is all matching and has the proper Imperial and Erfurt proofs throughout. It has the proper early features such as no hold open (originally) and no stock lug on the back strap. A hold open was added later. It has retained about 96% of its original finish. Areas of very minor on the side plate, side rails, around the muzzle, and at the base of the straps. While there is very little actual finish loss, there are tiny dots of oxidation on most of the gun, most noticeable on grip straps. Comes with very nice matching-numbered grips and a blank bottom magazine – a couple of tiny chips in the wood. Very nice bore with great rifling.
